Introducing the Central Marin Community Resiliency Team!

The Central Marin Community Resiliency Team (CRT) launched March 2025 with support from Health and Human Services and BluePath Health. Its goal is to unite local organizations, agencies, and schools to boost public awareness around health threats, prevention, and mitigation—and to improve access to resources, especially for our most vulnerable neighbors who would benefit the greatest from the provision and coordination of services and resources.
The Central Marin CRT serves Larkspur, Corte Madera, Kentfield/Greenbrae, Ross, San Anselmo, Sleepy Hollow and Fairfax. The team meets virtually on the third Monday of every month and includes representatives from local school districts, cities and towns, non-profits, first responders, aging community and more. Meetings focus on education, setting goals and moving to action.
The CRT concept was developed in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic and teams were launched in San Rafael, Southern Marin, Novato, and West Marin. The teams have since evolved to support broader public health priorities and an additional CRT has been formed in Central Marin.
The current CRT initiative focuses on three public health priorities:

1. Emergency Preparedness, including the Effects of Climate Change
AlertMarin will send critical information from local agencies during a disaster if you need to take action, such as to evacuate. Register up to five phones in your household. Alerts may include:
- Wildfire and evacuation information with life safety implications
- Information during an event about evacuation routes, shelters, transportation
- Other public safety incidents where lives may be at risk
2. Overdose Prevention
Visit OD Free Marin’s website for an interactive map showing the current and active locations of the new naloxone vending machines, along with NaloxBoxes and community-based organizations that provide naloxone, with or without a vending machine or NaloxBox.
3. Access to Services
